This camp will train players on skating fundamentals necessary for checking and contact; positioning, angling and gap control; stick checks; contact confidence; and full-body checks including side checks, hip checks, and front checks. At BRS High Performance Hockey we pride ourselves on progression-based training which builds players from simple and isolated skills to more advanced skill sequences and game-realistic scenarios. Our program design allows players to build a solid foundation and master each step along the way before being asked to perform under stress, allowing players to develop skills that are REPEATABLE. And skills that are repeatable under stress are skills that translate into higher levels of performance in games.
